Since 1964 we have made the Hotel Montana, our hotel on Monte Bondone, a garrison for the territory, its community and the tourists who belong to it for the duration of a holiday.
The history of our hotel on Monte Bondone has roots far back in time. It began in 1964, when Vittorio Barbieri, Nino to his friends, chose Monte Bondone to build, together with his mother Tina, the Hotel Montana.
Born in Bologna, Nino was a pioneer of the Trentino hotel industry, bringing for the first time to high altitude a hospitality formula that is still today the feature that most distinguishes our hotel on Monte Bondone.
Taking over from 1980 onwards is his son Alberto, who began working at the hotel when he was 16.
Married to Monica, who moved permanently with him to Montana in 2010, he is the current director of the hotel.
At his side, with an eye to the future, his children Martina and Matteo also work, representing the fourth generation of this historic family of hoteliers. Their task is to pass on the passion, warmth and savoir faire who have made the Hotel Montana so beloved, evolving its formula and adapting its offer to change without being subjected to it, as Alberto and Nino taught them with their example.

It is the ideal place if you are looking for a bit of tranquility. But when necessary it transforms into a stage where you can share with other guests experiences that leave their mark. In this small room, reserved and always available to those seeking tranquility to read a book, browse the newspaper or spend some time alone, we have recreated a place of great importance in the Trentino mountain culture. The stube is never missing from the farms of our land. A tradition to which we pay homage by organizing in this space the evenings of tasting of Trentino grappa, meetings with the food producers of the area (from cheeses to organic drinks and much more) and book presentations.
The auditorium, a large shared space.
Spacious and enriched with multiple technological solutions, our auditorium is a multifunctional space. Perfect if you are looking for a location for conferences, business meetings, refresher courses, awards ceremonies or parties with a large number of participants. But equally suitable for hosting the events we organize for our guests such as musical parties, movie nights, karaoke, theater shows, children’s pajama parties or awards ceremonies for sports groups. Located on the lower floor of the reception, it can be easily reached by elevator or via the main stairs. A secondary entrance facilitates the loading and unloading of any cars or vans. The room is completely soundproofed. Since 2019, subscriptions to Sky Sport and DAZN have also been active, which allow you to share the viewing of league matches and European football cups.

In our hotel on Monte Bondone we have created the space necessary to house not one, but two gyms. The first is a fitness gym, equipped with Technogym machines and dedicated to all those who want to stay in shape even on holiday. The second is a bouldering gym, designed for all lovers of this climbing technique that is performed on a concave surface, with few holds and a series of obligatory passages. In addition to the gyms, outside the hotel there is our sports field where you can play soccer, volleyball or tennis.
